Two bits of news from the world of podcasting: first up, the Ricky Gervais podcast offered by the Guardian has passed the two million mark it terms of downloads. For people like me who have worn out their copies of The Office (and don't have HBO and so can't watch his new show Extras), this is great news. The podcasts are really funny, and the show is one of the best examples of the genre; it's the kind of thing I used to listen to on the radio when I was a kid, but now the radio comes to me. Fab!

In other--er, less exciting--podcast news, TiVo has announced they're going to start offering podcasts, in addition to other broadband applications. I have DirectTV, and not TiVo, so I'm not too excited about this, but it shows the further familiarity that companies are having with the podcast format.
Here's a link to the story about the TiVo podcasts.
And here's a link to our own podcast site. Check it out...
Cheers.
