Recession or not, we're back in the season of family, friends, food, and gifts. Many readers with impeccable taste in gift-giving have told me that they're planning to buy my books for people on their Christmas list. If you'd like to give signed copies, I'm doing what I do every year -- offering to sign any books you send me with personalized inscriptions and then send them back to you (or directly to your recipients).
Just send your books with instructions for inscriptions, plus return envelopes with address labels and sufficient postage, to me at my P.O. box: P.O. Box 25211, St. Paul, MN 55125. For those of you overseas, you can always send me book plates for signature, which is a little easier than sending books back and forth across the oceans.
I'll be checking the P.O. box regularly, but of course, timely delivery is in the hands of God and the Postal Service!
If you send me a book immediately after Thanksgiving, don't panic if it takes a couple weeks to get back to you. Now that I've turned in book five, we'll be on vacation for a little while, soaking up the Florida sunshine.
In the meantime, I hope the holidays are off to a joyful start for all of you. Of the many things I'm thankful for in this life, readers like you are high on the list.
